What is a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)?

PGD Level 7 Diploma on UK’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) is at the same level as a Master’s degree. However, it is shorter (120 credits) and learners will have to proceed to the dissertation stage (60 credits) with university to achieve a full master’s programme.

Fast Track to MBA

OCBF Level 7 Diploma is an MBA Advanced Entry course, which equips students with 120 credits of the 180 credits required to achieve a complete MBA. The PGD course at level 7 allows students to finish their MBA in six months. The top up portion will usually consist of the final 60 credits of either a dissertation, or a dissertation and one module. Students will have the option of finishing their degree either online or in person at campus.

Course Requirements

For entry into the Level 7 Diploma qualification, learners must possess:

• An honours degree in related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
• Mature learners with management experience (learners must check with OCBF regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)
• Learners must be 21 years or older at the beginning of the course
• English requirements: If a learner is not from a majority English-speaking country, they must provide evidence of English language competency.

Once course requirements for the program have been met, a ‘Certificate of Completion’ is awarded by a UK Awarding Body.
